CSI Tanzania
CSI Tanzania is seeking a Senior Program Officer to join the team in Dar es Salaam! 5-7 years experience in global health, maternal-newborn health, and midwifery is necessary for this position.
Responsibilities:
1. Engage in planning, coordination and communications directly with key stakeholders to launch and implement CSI RMNCAH programs across Tanzania.
2. Take the lead to draft proposals, drive CSI projects to completion, document, and share findings with stakeholders.
3. Strengthen working relationships with key stakeholders in government, international partners, donors and NGOs, and ensure coordination of resources and efforts.
4. Coordinate with partners to ensure synergy with ongoing efforts aimed at address maternal, neonatal, infant, and under five mortality.
5. Assist with program reviews to ensure delivery according to plan and budget.
6. Support routine monitoring and evaluation activities including data collection, analysis and reporting.
7. Organize and support logistics for field work.
8. Perform other tasks as necessary.
Qualifications:
1. Degree in Global Health or related field.
2. Experience in delivering public health services in developing country context.
3. Program planning and management experience essential.
4. Ability to work effectively in a challenging and multicultural environment.
5. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
6. Ability to work independently and effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. Ability to achieve maximum efficiency and impact with limited human and financial resources.
This position reports directly to the Country Director.
