CSI Midwifery Professional Development is a two weeks robust and intense low-dose high-frequency program designed for licensed midwives through a combination of in-class, hands-on, and supervised learning. The curriculum covers topics such as basic hand washing to prevent spread of infections to managing a complicated childbirth brought on by eclampsia/hypertension or obstruction. The program is recognized by the Government of Tanzania because it contributes to the national and global agenda to save lives of mothers and babies, strengthen health workforce, and improve reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health in underserved communities.

CSI Midwifery training is facilitated by nationally recognized master trainers including Stella Mpanda, CSI Cofounder.
