CSI's strategic plan prioritizes people and their communities, for that is the direct path to achieve prosperity at the local, national, and global level." ~ Tausi Suedi
CSI's strategic plan has six interconnected goals aligning with CSI's top five priorities plus local and global priorities:
Goal 1: Increase access to basic health services at the grassroots level to reduce preventable maternal, newborn, and child deaths and disabilities. Goal 2: Strengthen frontline health worker capacity in urban and rural communities to provide respectful and quality reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health services. Goal 3: Increase access to health information and literacy in underserved communities to drive demand for health services and change behaviors. Goal 4: Deepen collaborative relationships with local and international partners including non-health partners to advance lifesaving grassroots interventions, maximize social impact, elevate social status of women and girls, and strengthen health systems. Goal 5: Increase number of adolescents and youth accessing social support and reproductive health services to live to their full potential and prevent HIV/AIDS infections, unintended pregnancies, use of alcohol and drugs, and crime/gang related engagement. Goal 6: Grow and strengthen CSI’s grassroots human resource capacity for effective and sustainable program implementations in underserved communities.
