CSI launched in Rwanda in May 2020 as a direct demand from community leaders for relief during the COVID-19 pandemic. CSI Rwanda is responding by supporting the local government to address food access and critical maternal health needs in Gisenyi and neighboring communities of Rubavu, Cyanzarwe, and Busasamana that have been acutely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
